A bit of this, a bit of that
The speaker for our March meeting was Ridade Stardust, with a smorgasbord of a talk: it began with a Circassian dance (Ridade is a proud Circassian), and some reflections on her teacher, Jankat Devrim, who was both a dancer and a jeweller, as well as instructing on manners and deportment. We also learned that Ridade's name means "Goddess of Music". Then we moved on to some mindfulness tips and the problems of being too accommodating in a bad relationship. We had some new faces present, including Gracie, a recent joiner, and James, who was Chap-curious and who has subsequently joined the club. Many thanks to Ridade and all who came.
