Frances Mitchell will give us a presentation entitled A Lobster Down Under: Bob’s World our 2025 (a.k.a. Carry On Up the Colonies). (Bob the Lobster, a life-size plastic crustacean, was originally a raffle prize from our Surrealism party, but he was been in attendance at most Club meetings and parties ever since.) “Earlier this year what was going to be a trip to see Stuart's sister in New Zealand turned into a round the world trip on which we were accompanied by ‘Bob’ a fully-fledged, tie wearing,  member of the NSC (don't ask!),” she explaines. “On our return Bob was asked to do a talk about the trip. The talk is not just a boring list of our holiday snaps but rather a fun review of places that we we felt we could take a large plastic lobster without offending anyone, getting arrested or causing an international incident!”
