The Candlelight Club is an award-winning clandestine pop-up 1920s speakeasy, in a secret London venue lit by candles. Each event offers live period jazz bands and vintage vinylism for your dancing pleasure, plus a dining options, cocktails bars and more.
As the nights draw in and the party season kicks off, we’ll be warming up the dance floor with rollicking live jazz music from the mighty Swing Ninjas, proving that the Devil plays sousaphone, and when the band aren’t on DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl into the night. Your host will be Champagne Charlie who will introduce racy burlesque from Miss Didi Derriere.
On the mezzanine our tarot reader Lucius will be on hand to glimpse into your future and Michelle Krausz will be offering sparkling delights at her pop-up vintage jewellery shop. There will also be a complimentary dance lesson in the Charleston from NSC members Russell and Sara.
Our venue will be a south London speakeasy close to Tooting Broadway tube station. You can come just for drinks and dancing but you can also reserve a table with Champagne, or book the three-course dinner. There’s even an inclusive-drinks option. Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret location (which is close to a tube station). So pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston…
"The closest you'll find to an authentic Jazz Age experience in central London. Its unique ambience, fuelled by hundreds of candles, is truly a scene to behold." —Time Out
